is fostering the following Weimaraners in Mountain Home, Idaho
Angel is 6 yrs old. She was a brood from the
first heat and has produced over 70 puppies.
When she was no longer able to produce, she was
thrown away. She had mammerys hanging
down to her knees and hormone problems. She
has now been spayed, had surgery to correct the
sagging [masectomy] and is now a
happy-go-lucky girl. She is housebroken, crate
trained, good with other dogs. Cats??? She is
grateful for any attention you give her. Very
gentle and sweet. contact Barzpk@aol.com
KENYA: 3 yr. spayed female, housebroken, good
with kids and other dogs. She was adopted out and
returned after 2 years because she would get bored and
escape from the yard. She says she "needs a job" and
would like to do obedience or agility competition. She
needs an active home where she can be a big part of the
family, keep busy, go places and have daily exercise.

experience and can be firm with her. In Mountain
Home, Idaho. Contact barzpk@aol.com 208 587-4101

MUTT & JEFF: These two Weimaraners were running loose and were picked up by
the shelter. The owner, who did not have a good fence, did not want to reclaim them. These
boys just need some attention and training and a secure fence around a big yard. They are
very attached to each other and would like to be placed together. They have had little
training but are willing to learn and only want some attention. Both are good with other
dog. MUTT, age 1, is the "Forest Gump" of the two, just a happy-go-lucky, not a care in the
world dog. He is very attached to Jeff but would do well with a constant human companion.
JEFF is age 2, the bigger of the two standing 28 inches at the shoulder, is a very lovable
guy and loves to go for rides. They would make great companions. In a foster home in
Mountain Home, Idaho. Contact barzpk@aol.com 208 587-4101.

TURNER & HOOCH: 18 month old
Weimaraner/Hound mix boys. They were given as

training. They are going to be on the larger size and show
alot of hound traits. They are good with other dogs, working
on housebreaking. Can you give a good home to a handsome
Weimerhund? In Mountain Home, Idaho. Contact June at

comes from an abusive situation where he was hit in the head
resulting in a broken nose which has since healed, but he will
forever bear a lump on his nose because the bone was not set. He is
now in a foster home in Mountain Home, Idaho. He has had no
training but learns quickly and is willing to do anything to please.
A very sweet friendly dog, he has never been around kids but was
fine when he met one. Good with other dogs, but would also do well
as an only dog where he would get all the attention Can use a dog

TYLER is a blind, 4 yr. old male Weimaraner rescue in Salem, Oregon. Tyler is in
need of time with a volunteer a few days a week to get him out and about, as his owner is
ill and unable to watch over him while he runs and plays. There is hope his owner will
recover and resume spending time hiking and exploring nature with him. However,
since he is blind, it is a risk to let him play alone outside, as he could wander into
trouble. Tyler is a fun loving Weim who came across a rattlesnake's den while on a hike.
He was bitten in the face several times and taken to emergency in time to save his life.
Not long after this incident, he lost his vision. He is able to get around in daylight quite
well, but when it is dark he cannot see shadows and tends to find his way by bumping
into chairs, etc. He does not let his blindness inhibit him in that he loves to run in open
space and go on walks and hikes; his ability to follow a trail is amazing. He comes when
he is called and always runs back to check on you. He LOVES cats, they sleep on top of
him! His loyalty to his owner and good nature is truly an inspiration. If you can help
by spending an hour or so a week to give Tyler some exercise, or know of someone who
can, contact norcalweimrescue@yahoo.com or 925-385-5275.
